SNOW School

I picked up a few new fun things for my birthday that we could use for school. The 1st is a DVD by leapfrog all about Letters and the Sounds they make. It has become one of Austins favorite movies and he's learning so a win win situation.

I also got some fun counting bears and cups for the boys to use. We are always looking for counters on different projects and they liked sorting all the colors into the different cups.
The final thing we got was a box of pattern blocks. The boys both did very good finding the pieces and matching the pattern.
The weather is working out perfectly with our school lessons for this week! We are learning all about the letter S and that means snow and ice! Here's what we did on MONDAY!
The boys played a fun game of ROll the SNOWMAN, we used cards and they flipped them over instead of a dice, but it helps them to learn numbers by sight!

Putting the SNOWMAN together!
At the end they glued the snowman down to a piece of paper and it is a decoration for our front door. Austin is just learning how to use a glue stick and he did really good!

For lunch i had to have some fun and made their pb&j into a snowman sandwich, they thought they were really cute!
